edit: um... click the image to view it properly. :roll: figured this was obvious but whatever.

so way back (maybe 2006?) i started working on character expression sheets and trying to make my chars look different from each other and such. so i'm continuing here. plus i miss my RPG and my lil' babies *squishes them* i'm working on really digging in and developing rorag from scratch again. just a tweaking of what's already there so i'm kind of inspired and all RP-y again heh.

these started with jolie there in like january i think then yesturday and today i busted out marion (jolie and ferris's cousin) and ferris (jolie's older brother). i need to work on jolie and ferris looking alike i think heh. plus minimizing of the forheads XDDD other than that i'm havin' fun with these. more to come!

tools: ballpoint pens and pigment liners, printer paper, photoshop 7 for navy-ifying and textures. although jolie was done in blue ballpoint, marion in purple, and ferris in black micron XD!


i think i've discovered a new love for sketching with microns. i know with ballpoint you have the freedom of pressure sensitivity but... they need to make them thangs smaller or something :/ or maybe i need to draw bigger initially. O__O whatevs.

Ooo, I love your headshots. I really love their uniforms and hairstyles (especially Ferris' <3). I think you did an excellent job at making them look like brother and sister. That's something that seems like it'd be pretty difficult to do!

thanks so much :heart: the uniforms are quite a bit of fun to draw and tweak around with heh. making people look related does seem hard but i didn't reallyl focus on that this time around so it wasn't really hard XD! i think if i have another go it'll be hard but i'm up to the challenge :laughing:

Love the characters^_^ I'm really diggin the uniform. Any chance I can get some history behind the story line of Rorag? That is if you still have it saved somewheres^_~

thank you, lovie :hug: you can definitely have the background info but the thing is i'm changing alot of it XD!! i want to make it more solid and tied together more so i'm working on it. what i can do though is post up some of the old stuff up on the blog and i can link you to it and then i'll just replace it with the new stuff laters. are you interested in creating a rorag char by chance? :flirty:

hmm i think i may have approved you but it was probably waaaaaay late :laughing: anyway i'll toss ya a note once i've got the info up at the blog. i've been farting about with the blog/forum all day XD i really want to turn this into something people will flock to and want to join in and stay around and such. i dunno hopefully starting from scratch and doing it carefully will help.

Damn, makes me want a drawn avatar for Ruby. I think it fits well with the new direction Rorag is going in... for some reason. I've been sketching Ruby a little, but it's hard to get her to look the way I imagine her in my head. XD Anyways, I love your drawings, you have a great style, and I especially love Jolie. She's so cute! *squishes*
